No matter what the emergency, HAIX® Fire Flash Xtreme has you covered. NFPA quad-certified, HAIX® Fire Flash Xtreme is a Structural, Wildland, HAZMAT, USAR boot.
HAIX® Fire Flash Xtreme is a great alternative for those hard to fit guys who have trouble stepping into pull on bunker boots. These discount firefighter boots can accommodate wider calves and/or ankles with its adjustable built in lacing system. Have a prior ankle of foot injury that needs extra support? HAIX® Fire Flash Xtreme is the perfect choice since you can adjust each boot individually for a custom fit; cinch lacing tighter for additional support. With the HAIX® Lacing System you can adjust your boots easily and quickly - similar to a zipper boot with the fit of a lace up type of footwear. Flex zone construction around the tongue ensures you will still have the flexibility to perform the job at hand.
The HAIX® Fire Flash Xtreme offers European craftsmanship and HAIX® technological designs and specialized materials, which keep your feet dry and protected from blood borne pathogens, chemicals, and more. Lots of flexibility in the ankles and secure hold in the heels means your feet can get where they need to go without straining your foot muscles or suffering ankle roll. The HAIX® Secura Liner keeps your boot lining in place. It will not wrinkle or pull out of your boots. It is permanently affixed and designed for maximum comfort and airflow.
Upper Material To Make a Firefighter and EMS Responder Proud
First responders will be proud to wear these high quality discount firefighter boots which are constructed of solid leather. The leather is waterproof and comes with Sun Reflect technology to keep the sun on the outside of the boot rather than warming feet on the inside. Para-aramid cut protection provides an added level of protection to feet on duty. A steel protective toe cap with exterior profiled rubber toe cap not only keeps your feet safe and protected but keeps your boots looking great. It also provides abrasion resistance when crawling.
Insole, Lining and Footbed With CROSSTECH®
CROSSTECH® liner keeps your feet dry and comfortable. It also provides chemical protection and blood borne pathogen resistance. Absorbent insoles makes the footbed drier and more comfortable. They are washable and replaceable.
Sole For the Firefighter
The HAIX® MSL System (Micro Soft Light) designed sole offers a PU foam injection throughout the sole for maximum comfort and great shock absorption. The MSL System is also excellent at insulating feet from the heat or cold. The steel puncture protective sole contains a flexible, stainless steel layer to keep feet safe from sharp objects while still allowing some freedom of movement when driving a truck or performing your duties. Returning due to size discrepancy
I have other Haix boots and 11 is the correct size and I found that 11 was too large in this style. I am reordering something different.
Hi Dan,
Thank you for taking the time to review the Fire Flash Xtreme, FS. We are sorry to hear that the fit of this boot was too big for you. All of our structural fire boots run about a half size larger than many of our other boots. Please keep this in mind if you decide to make another purchase. If you ever have any questions about sizing, please reach out via Live Chat our call our Customer Service Dept. and they will be happy to help. We hope that the new boots fit correctly and that they serve you well!
Eight Pairs & Counting - won't wear anything else
Impossible to tell why Factory Seconds are what they claim to be - as much as I wear these, waiting for 10.5 mediums is worth the wait. This last round I bought three pairs. The plan is to have enough in reserve that if the style goes out of style my supply will last my lifetime.
As not a fire fighter I replace the Nomex laces that break way too soon with Kiwi outdoor boot laces & use duct tape on the heels to equalize the wear. I used Nushoe once for resole to the result it made the boot to stiff separating the sole from the boot box. Having a replaceable bootie would be nice as I destroy them after a year while the rest of the boot would last two more years easy. Thank goodness for ever reliable boot saver Gorilla tape - its only saving grace is to save my FFE's from early retirement.
These are truely the bunny slippers of fire boots!
Hi John,
Thank you for reviewing the Fire Flash Xtreme, FS. We are happy to hear that you have found the Factory Seconds to be just as good as our Factory Firsts. WOW!. Three pair. We certainly appreciate the fact that you like the boots so much that you want to make sure you have them in reserve. As far as the booty, our liner is built into the sole construction, as to not pull out or wrinkle up over time. We are pleased that these boots have served you well and are comfortable out on the job. We appreciate your loyalty to HAIX!
Great Boots
I have purchased two pairs of these boots. I use them as station duty boots and not as structure boots. I use them as station duty boots so I don't have to worry about anything with water or heat. They are heavy, but you get used to that after a while.
Hi Geoff,
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with the Fire Flash Xtreme. We are happy to hear that you are using this quad-certified boot in the station and that the features offer protection against water, heat and chemicals. We appreciate your loyalty to HAIX. Stay safe out there!
Great boots
These boots are great boots, I wear them every day and are very comfortable. The only issue I have had with them has nothing to do with the boots themselves. The laces keep wearing through, I recieved a second set of laces from HAIX (thank you HAIX) and wore through them. Kevlar laces are the current end all to that issue.
Overall these boots are possibly the and most comfortable I have ever owned. Great protection and are perfect for all aspects of day to day on the job.
Thanks for the great review Scott, we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with everyone. Enjoy your boots and stay safe!
love these boots!
My favorite boots! I ive had these about 5 months & work in the oil field 10 to 20 hrs a day 6 days a week. I work around chemicals acids & oils. Usually in standing water & mud most of the day. I used to buy redwing worx boots for $180. They wouldnt last over 6 or 7 months. The liner would wear out in the heel area & start leaking. Not to mention my feet would hurt after a long day. Haix has everything in mind. The heel is reinforced with a strip of leather to protect the liner. The rubber toe cap is a must with leather boots with steel toe. The insulating liner protects your feet from heat & cold. They fit true to size they are not heavy as they appear. They look hot but they actually are cooler than other boots. The lace up system is good but the laces dont last. After about 3 months one of them broke. I just had another break a few days ago. Fortunately they are long enough to tie them back together.
Thanks for the review Michael. Customer service will contact you about your laces.
